New Passport Photo Rules Announced by Indian Embassy in Kuwait

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has implement new rules for the passport applications with photos from September 2025. The photo must meet international aviation standards. It should be colored, sized 630 x 810 pixels, and show the full face clearly from the front. The background should be plain white, and the head should take up about 80 to 85% of the photo. Eyes must be open, without red-eye or glare, and the mouth should be closed. Head coverings are only allowed for religious reasons. The embassy also said that edited or filtered photos will not be accepted. These rules follow international guidelines to improve passport security and identification.
