Hong Kong Tourist Visa for Indians

Each visit is limited to 14 days. If a traveler plans to stay for longer than 14 days, they must apply for an entry permit or visa through the Hong Kong Immigration Department.

Eligibility Criteria for Hong Kong Tourist Visa

Indian nationals can apply for Pre-Arrival Registration for free, provided they meet the following conditions:

1. Hold a valid Indian passport with at least six months of validity

1. Intend to stay in Hong Kong for no more than 14 days

Hong Kong Tourist Visa Application Process

To complete the Pre-Arrival Registration, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website of the Hong Kong Immigration Department.

1. Select the 'Pre-Arrival Registration for Indian Nationals' option.

1. Enter all required passport details accurately.

1. Submit the form – the system will provide an instant registration result.

1. If approved, print the Notification Slip for Pre-Arrival Registration on a blank A4-sized white paper.

1. Carry the Notification Slip along with your passport when traveling.

If the registration is unsuccessful, applicants must apply for a Hong Kong entry visa through the Immigration Department.

How to Check the Validity of Hong Kong Pre-Arrival Registration

To apply for Pre-arrival Registration, Indians have to do the following:

Step 1: Open the website of the immigration department of Hong Kong. 

Step 2: Click on 'Pre-arrival Registration for Indian Nationals'. 

Step 3: Enter the correct information. The details entered should match the details on the passport. 

Step 4: On submission, the registration result will be told to the registrant instantly. 

Step 5: In case of successful registration, the 'Notification Slip for Pre-arrival Registration for Indian Nationals' has to be printed on a blank A4 sized white paper. 

If the registration process is not successful, the Indian national who wishes to visit Hong Kong must apply directly for an entry visa with the Immigration Department of Hong Kong.
