1. Visit the website portal of the Telangana National Food Security Cards: https://epds.telangana.gov.in/FoodSecurityAct/

3. Click on the 'Ration Card Reports' tab and then select the 'FSC Card Status Report' menu from the list of options given.
4. Select your District and choose the respective shop number.
5. Once done, the list of all the ration cards under the selected shop will appear.
   

Types of Telangana Ration Cards

In Telangana, there are three major types of ration cards given to people. They are:

Antyodaya Anna Yojana Cards

1. Elderly widows or disabled individuals aged 60 years and above who head their households can avail of this card.
2. Individuals such as landless agricultural labourers, rural artisans, craftsmen, marginal farmers, rickshaw pullers, carpenters, blacksmiths, etc., can also get this card.
3. Primitive tribal households are allowed to avail of this card.

Antyodaya Food Security Cards (AFSC)

1. Households with an annual family income of less than Rs.1.5 lakh and Rs.2 lakh, in rural areas and urban areas, respectively, can get this card. People with a land area of less than 3.50 acres for wetland and less than 7.50 acres for dry land can also get this card.

 Food Security Cards (FSC)

1. Families with a stable income that does not fall into any of the categories mentioned above are eligible to receive Food Security Cards (FSC).

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Ration Card

The eligibility criteria to apply for any of these ration cards are as follows:

• The applicant must be a resident of Telangana.
• He or she must not already hold a Telangana Good Security (FSC) or Ration card.
• The applicant should belong to a poor or economically weaker section of society.
• Newly married couples are eligible to apply for a ration card.
• Citizens who hold temporary cards or ration cards which have expired can apply for a new ration card as well.

How to Apply for a Telangana Ration Card? 

To apply for a new ration card in Telangana, you need to follow the steps given below: 

1. Visit the official MeeSeva portal.  

2. Go to the ‘Downloads’ tab and choose ‘Application Forms’.  

3. Navigate to ‘Civil Supplies’ and select the ‘Application for New Food Security Card’. 

4. After downloading the application form, print a copy of it. 

5.  Fill in the necessary details, such as personal details, address information, and other additional data. 

6. Collect all supporting documents and attach them as mentioned. 

7. The completed form needs to be submitted at your nearest MeeSeva centre or the Praja Palana centres. 

8. Pay the required fees and get the acknowledgement slip as proof of submission.   

Documents Required to Apply for a Telangana Ration Card

The citizens who wish to apply for a Telangana ration card are required to submit a list of documents along with a duly filled application form available on the website. The documents which need to be submitted are:

1. A copy of the original state resident proof i.e. Telangana State Domicile.
2. Passport size photograph of the applicant.

• Visit the Telangana EPDS portal.
• Click on the 'FSC Search' tab.
• The applicant can check the status of the ration card by using any of the following options including the FSC Reference Number, Ration Card Number, Old Ration Card Number, and District.
