RERA Acts in Your Cities and States
Anita Karwal, a retired IAS officer, has been chosen to lead the Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (GujRERA) as she took over from Amarjit Singh who retired in November of last year.
Visit the RERA Gujarat Official Website where a real estate project's transparency can be uncovered by first accessing the RERA Gujarat website.
The RERA Act was approved by the Indian Parliament's Upper House in order to protect your rights as a buyer of real estate and to encourage real estate investment all throughout the country. Therefore, Gujarat's RERA Act merely makes sure that this objective is accomplished.
The type of project and its scope affect the promoter's registration costs. Typically, it costs between Rs 5 and 20 per square metre.
As registration fees, an individual agent would be required to pay Rs 10,000, while others will be required to pay Rs.50,000.
The RERA licenced agents or promoters in Gujarat are awarded certificates known as RERA certificates. A promoter or agent who possesses this certificate is one who abides by all the guidelines established by RERA Gujarat.
In May 2017, the Gujarati government established the Real Estate Regulatory Authority of Gujarat. RERA Gujarat seeks to increase transparency and reform Gujarat's real estate market.
You can go to Registration on the GujRERA website to see the status of the RERA initiative. Select the agent or project now. After that, enter the necessary information. The list approved RERA projects will then appear on the website.
