Credit Card Enquiries

Theft or Loss of Card

In case of theft or loss of your credit card, you will need to report the loss of card to the customer care department of the bank. Once the loss is registered, the customer care of the bank will block your card to prevent any fraudulent transactions.

You can call the customer care number 1800 110 001 or send an e-mail to digitalsupport@centralbank.co.in. The e-mail ID is for all queries and complaints or assistance needed for digital transactions.

Central Bank of India Grievance Redressal Procedure

The Central Bank of India, since it is owned and operated by the Government of India has an effective grievance redressal procedure in place for swift and efficient solutions to all kinds of issues. The grievance redressal procedure takes place at different levels.

First Level

The first level of the procedure involves the customer care department of the bank. Initial communication with a customer care representative about a complaint or query serves as the first level of grievance redressal.

However, if you do not receive a solution to your complaint or a satisfactory answer, you can contact the branch manager of the respective bank by either e-mail or phone.

Second Level

If the branch manager is not able to answer your query or offer a satisfactory solution to your complaint, it will then be registered with the Nodal Officer of the branch. Once it reaches the Nodal Officer, the complaint will be addressed within 15 days.

Third Level

If the Nodal Officer's solution to your complaint is not given or is not satisfactory, it is then transferred to the Nodal Officer of the Central Office.

After this, if the customer is not satisfied with the answer to their query, the complaint goes to the Internal Ombudsman of the bank. They are officials who are appointed by the Reserve Bank of India who investigates complaints.
