Through e-wallet

You can either download an e-wallet app on your phone or simply visit the website to complete the payment of your electricity bill. We will list down the steps you will have to follow in order to pay your electricity bill:

1. Open the app or visit the website
2. Click on 'electricity bill'/ 'bill' section on the page. You will be directed to a new page
3. Enter the state in which you reside, followed by the electricity board from the drop-down menu which in this case will be DHBVN
4. Enter your account number or consumer ID. Click on 'Submit'
5. The bill will be fetched, and you will be able to view the billing amount. Proceed to complete the payment. Follow the instructions. Once the payment is completed, save the e-receipt for future reference

Directly through UPI app

If you are a frequent user of a UPI app, you can directly pay your electricity bill by following the process given below:

1. Open the UPI app on your mobile phone
2. Under 'Recharge and Pay bills'/ 'Make New Payments', you can choose 'Electricity'
3. Select the electricity board
4. Enter consumer ID
5. Proceed to make the payment
6. Once the payment is done, save the e-receipt for future reference

How to Pay DHBVN Electricity Bill Through Other Options

Through mobile app

You can pay your DHBNV electricity bill by downloading the DHBVN electricity bill payment app on your mobile phone. We will list down the steps you will have to follow in order to pay your electricity bill through the app:

1. Download the DHBVN electricity bill payment app on your phone
2. Enter your credentials to log in
3. On the menu, you can view your electricity bill
4. Click on 'Pay Bill'
5. Select any one of the payment modes available - credit card, debit card, UPI, e-wallet, or net banking
6. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP, following which your payment will be completed. Save the e-receipt for future reference

How to Pay DHBVN Electricity Bill Offline

You can pay your electricity bill offline by visiting the nearest section office or collection center along with your bill to complete the payment. You can complete the payment of your electricity bills by using modes of payment such as credit card, debit card, UPI, e-wallets, cheque, demand draft, or simply by cash.

In case of any query you can call on the toll-free numbers 1912 or 1800-180-4334. A customer care executive will get in touch with you and will help in resolving your query.

You can also send a WhatsApp message to the number 8813999708, where you can message your query. A representative from the board will get in touch with you and will help you with the process of resolving your query.

You can also send an email to 1912@dhbvn.org.in where you can mention your queries. A representative from the electricity board will get in touch with you.

How can I Apply for a DHBVN  New Connection?

1. Visit the DHBVN official website
2. Click on 'New Connection' available on the menu
3. Under 'Apply for New Connection', click on 'Apply'
4. An application form will appear. Duly fill the form, upload the necessary documents, and follow the instructions given. Once your form has been filled, and documents uploaded, submit the form
5. The electricity board will verify the documents and will get in touch with you. If all the documents submitted by you are correct, you will be then eligible to get a new connection.
