Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page.

Step 4: Enter your 'Consumer ID'.

Step 5: Click on 'Submit'.

3. Step 3: Choose 'Electricity' from the available options. 
4. Step 4: You'll be redirected to a new page where the biller list will be visible to you. 
5. Step 5: Choose 'MeECL' from the available options. 
6. Step 6: Fill in your Customer ID/ Account ID. 
7. Step 7: Click on 'Confirm'. 
8. Step 8: You'll also be able to see your electricity bill.  
9. Step 9: Fill in the due electricity bill amount 
10. Step 10: Choose the 'Proceed to Pay' option. 
11. Step 11: Complete the payment transaction using PhonePe. 

Points to Remember:

1. After a successful payment, the Vend Code will be generated instantly. 
2. If the link gets disconnected while returning from the bank after a successful bill payment, the Vend Code may not be generated immediately. However, it will be generated automatically as soon as the link is re-established. 
3. In such cases, please re-login after some time and check if the Vend Code has been generated by clicking the 'Generate' button. 
4. Please do not refresh or press the back button in your browser during the payment process. 
5. If there is a delay in the generation of the Vend Code, please email mepdcl.shillong@gmail.com with your Consumer Number, Transaction Number, and Payment Date.
