You can pay the Bihar Road Tax online from the comfort of your home by following these steps:

  1. Step 2: On the left tab, enter your vehicle registration number and select the state and RTO.
  1. Step 3: A new window will open; click on the login option.

Penalty for Non-payment of Road Tax in Bihar

If the road tax is not paid on time, the following penalties apply:

  1. 1 day to 15 days: No fine
  1. 15 days to 30 days: 25% of the total tax amount
  1. 30 days to 60 days: 50% of the total tax amount
  1. 60 days to 90 days: Equal to the tax amount
  1. 90 days and above: Double the tax amount
