Punjab National Bank offers personal loans up to Rs.20 lakh under the 'Personal Loan Scheme for Public' scheme at interest rates starting from just 12.00% p.a. The repayment tenure extends up to 72 months, and the processing fees levied is up to 1% of the loan amount.

The bank also offers loans of up to Rs.20 lakh under the 'PNB Doctor's Delight - Personal Loan Scheme to Doctor' scheme for a maximum tenure of up to 84 months.

Personal Loan Scheme for Public

  1. Up to 24 times of the gross monthly income of the applicant subject to a maximum amount of Rs.20 lakh.

Personal Loan Scheme for Doctors

  1. Rs.2 lakh to Rs.20 lakh or 24 times of the gross monthly income, whichever is lower. This is subject to a minimum net annual income of Rs.5 lakh or more.

Personal Loan Scheme for Pensioners

  1. Rs.25,000 to Rs.10 lakh or 18 times of the net monthly pension for pensioners who are up to 70 years old.
  2. Rs.25,000 to Rs.10 lakh or 20 times of the net monthly pension for defence pensioners who up to 70 years old.
  3. Rs.25,000 to Rs.7.5 lakh or 18 times of the net monthly pension for pensioners who are between 70 and 75 years old, whichever is lower.
  4. Rs.25,000 to Rs.7.5 lakh or 18 times of the net monthly pension for defence pensioners who are between 70 and 75 years old, whichever is lower.
  5. Rs.25,000 to Rs.5 lakh or 12 months' worth of pension amount for pensioners who are older than 75 years of age, whichever is lower.

Eligibility Criteria for PNB Personal Loan

Here are the eligibility criteria for Personal Loan Scheme for Public:

  1. Must be a permanent or confirmed defence personnel, such as officials of Central Reserve Police Force, Military Station Headquarters, Indo Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Border Security Force, etc.
  2. Must be a permanent or confirmed employee of the State or Central Government, Public Sector Units, or reputed institutions or colleges including schools, autonomous bodies, universities, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. who draw their salary via Punjab National Bank accounts.
  3. Must be professionally qualified doctors whose annual income is Rs.4 lakh or more.

Eligibility criteria for Personal Loan Scheme for Doctors:

  1. Must be a professionally qualified doctor whose net annual income is Rs.5 lakh or more.
  2. Must have a continued occupancy at the present residence for at least two years.

Eligibility Criteria for Personal Loan Scheme for Pensioners:

  1. Must be a pensioner who draws pension through a Punjab National Bank branch.

Eligibility Criteria for Personal Loan for Working Woman during Perinatal Period - ‘PNB Matritva’ 

  1. All permanent/confirmed female employees who work at reputed companies, PSUs, State Government, or Central Government. The employee must draw salary from PNB. 

Eligibility Criteria for Personal Loan for LIC of India Employees 

  1. Permanent/confirmed employees of LIC of India. The employee must have worked at least for a year.
