DCB Bank has now launched its new Travel Smart Multi-Currency Card that can be availed by its premium customers. This prepaid card proves to be a valuable tool to carry when travelling outside the country.
The Travel Smart card gives an individual easy access to withdrawals of 16 different foreign currency denominations.
16 different currencies that are used around the world can be loaded onto this prepaid card.
You do not need to have an account with DCB bank to get a Travel Smart Multi-Currency Card. All you have to do is walk into a DCB Bank branch. You can then pick up a DCB Travel Smart Multi-Currency Card from one of the tellers at the bank and this is done over the counter.

A PIN is a 4-digit personal identification number that is used to validate any transaction made using the card.
Do not share your PIN with anyone at any cost, even if you're requested to. The PIN is not required for the processing of a transaction made while swiping your card.
The daily limit for purchases is $10,000 and the daily limit for withdrawals from ATMs is $5,000 or an equivalent amount of cash.
There is no exchange rate applied if the transaction goes through using base currency. However, exchange rates that are applied for converting base currency into the local currency will be applied for all transactions that are made.
You will receive an SMS on the phone number that you have registered to the card. This SMS will be sent to your phone the moment you load/reload your card. It is also advisable to check your bank balance before you leave the country.

Yes, you can. This can be done once the cardholder returns to India. The last transaction from the time of encashment should exceed 10 days. You will also need to duly fill and submit the refund form along with copies of your PAN card and passport.
