How do I Create/Generate a New Debit Card PIN?

After receiving your debit card and activating your account, you can choose from the simple methods listed below to create your debit card PIN.

Through AU Small Finance Bank website

  1. Step 1: Visit the AU Bank Official website
  2. Step 2: Please enter your 16-digit AU debit card number and expiration date on this page (Month and Year).
  3. Step 3: Provide your customer ID and either your DOB or PAN number.
  4. Step 4: You will get an OTP to your registered mobile number.
  1. Step 5: Enter the OTP and a new page will be displayed for entering your debit card PIN.
  2. Step 6: Now, you can enter your new 4-digit AU Debit Card PIN. This will be set as your debit card PIN

You can use your newly created PIN to carry on with your AU Debit card transactions.

Through our Customer Care’s Interactive Voice Response (IVR)

You can use this facility if you call from your registered mobile number.

  1. Step 1: Call AU banks Customer 1800 1200 1500. This is a toll-free number. Make sure you call from your registered phone number.
  2. Step 2:  After choosing the language of your choice, you will be asked to choose 'GREEN PIN Reset'.
  3. Step 3:  You will then be asked to enter your specific customer credentials, so please have the following information available while you are on the phone.
  4. Step 4: Enter y our 16-digit AU Account number and customer ID.
  5. Step 5: Now enter your AU debit card's 16-digit number and its expiry details MMYY format (for example, if the expiry date is January 2023, enter 0123).
  1. Step 6:  After the aforementioned information has been verified, you will be asked to enter and confirm your preferred 4-digit AU Debit Card PIN.
  2. Step 7: Once verified, the 4-digit PIN you entered will become your new AU Debit Card PIN.

Through AU Small Finance Bank ATMs

  1. Step 1: Go to the ATM of AU Small Finance Bank. It is recommended to visit the one that is closest to you.
  2. Step 2: Click on the option to 'set your AU Debit Card GREEN PIN' after the ATM verifies your AU debit card.
  1. Step 3: You will receive a 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) on your registered phone number.
  2. Step 4: You will be required to enter your new, 4-digit AU Debit Card PIN after entering the OTP that was sent to your registered mobile number.
  3. Step 5: This PIN will be set as your PIN to use your AU Debit Card after this PIN has been verified by the system.
  4. Step 6: You can use this newly created PIN to do any transactions using your AU Debit Card.

PIN Generation Via SMS or Customer Care

  1. Step 1: Send an SMS to AU Bank’s customer care number (1800 103 1900) with the required details
  1. Step 2: Follow the instructions received via SMS to generate a new PIN.
