How to Link PAN Card to Axis Bank Account (Online/Offline)

You can link PAN Card with Axis bank account through internet banking. The process to do so is very simple. Read on to know more about it:

Step 1 - Visit the net banking page of Axis Bank

Step 2 - Login to your account using your User ID and password

Step 3 - Look for the “Services” option present on the page.

Step 5 - Choose the “My Profile” option

Step 6 - Click on “Update” option present on the screen

Step 7 - Fill in the required details

Step 8 - Click on the checkbox against “Agree to T&C”

Step 9 - Click on “Update” button present on the screen

Once your application is registered, it may take up to 48 hours for your bank account to be connected to PAN. Once your PAN Card is connected, you will receive a confirmation SMS to your registered mobile number.

How to Link PAN Card with an Axis Bank Account Using the SMS Facility?

You can easily link your bank account with your PAN through SMS facility, follow the steps given below:

Step 1 - If you are an Axis Bank customer, you can link your bank account with PAN using SMS.

Step 2 - To do this, you need to type “PAN <PAN number> [Customer ID]” using your mobile number registered with Axis Bank. You can then send the message 56161600 or 919951860002. 

Step 3 - For example, if your PAN number is 967354334098 and your customer number ID is 423486782012345, then type the message in the format: 

PAN< 967354334098>[423486782012345] and send the message to the number mentioned above.

Do note that you can avail yourself of this facility only if your mobile number is registered with the Axis Bank.

How to Link PAN Card with an Axis Bank Account Through the Mobile App?

Follow the steps given below to link your Axis Bank account with your PAN Card through the mobile app

Step 1 - Using your User ID and Password, login on to the Maha Mobile application.

Step 2 - Click on the ‘Requests’ option from the dropdown menu,

Step 3 - Choose the ‘PAN Seeding’ option.

Step 4 - Fill in your 12-digit PAN number twice and submit it.

It would take around 48 hours to successfully link your bank account with your PAN Card through the mobile app. You will also receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number after successful registration.

How to Link PAN Card with an Axis Bank Account Through an ATM?

You can also link your PAN Card with Axis Bank account though ATM. It allows its customers to connect their bank account with their PAN through their ATMs. Follow the steps given below to link your bank account with your PAN through Axis Bank ATMs:

Step 1 - You will have to swipe your debit card in the machine and enter your ATM pin.

Step 2 - Select the option “Services” from the available menu.

Step 3 - Choose the “PAN Seeding” option.

Step 4 - Fill in your 12-digit PAN number twice

Step 5 - Click on the confirm button.

Step 6 - You will get a successful request receipt.

Once your PAN Card has been connected to your bank account, it will take a couple of days for it to take effect. You will get a confirmation SMS when your PAN Card has successfully been connected.

How to Link PAN Card with an Axis Bank Account Offline?

Follow the steps given below to link PAN Card with bank account offline:

Step 1 - You need to visit the nearest Axis Bank’s branch and raise a request to link PAN Card with the bank account.

Step 2 - Fill in the required form (if any) and submit all the required documents to start the process.

Step 3 - You will receive an SMS confirmation once your PAN Card is linked with bank account.
