The procedure that must be followed to pay the e-challan is mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official website.
  2. Choose Challan Number/ DL Number/ Vehicle Number.
  3. Enter the required details and captcha.
  4. Click on 'Get Detail'.
  5. Click on 'Pay Now' option.
  6. Choose the mode of payment to pay challan fine.
  7. After completing the payment, you will receive a transaction ID, note it down for future reference.

How to Pay Traffic Challan on the State Transport Website

The procedure that must be followed to pay the e-challan is mentioned below:

  1. Visit your States's official transport website.
  2. You will find a section dedicated to paying violation fines.
  3. You will be allowed to choose if you want to pay violation notices, parking charges, spot fines, or any other charges.
  4. Choose the appropriate link and you will be asked to enter certain details depending on the type of traffic violation.
  5. Generally, you will be asked to enter your new vehicle registration number, old registration number, or your parking violation tag number (If you know).
