Fancy vehicle numbers are the latest fad amongst young motorcycle buyers. With rising living standards in Odisha, people in the state have a great demand for cruisers and mid to premium-range motorcycles due to their increased interest in adventure and travel.
Fancy vehicle numbers make the motorcycles look unique and tell a lot about the persona of the rider. Some fancy numbers like 007 (James Bond), 786 (Islamic number), 8055 (Reads 'BOSS'), 1111, 0001, 3333, 7777, 6666, 9999, and others are in great demand as they carry a certain appeal. However, getting a VIP registration number for your bike may not be as easy as it used to be a few years ago.
For certain numbers, there exists a huge demand. And this is why these are allotted by way of auction. In Odisha, a list of fancy numbers are kept aside by the state government which are allocated through online mechanisms.

The third and most significant component of a vehicle registration number is the four-digit registration number assigned to the vehicle by the concerned registering authority.
