In India's UPI market, Google's GPay and Walmart Inc.'s PhonePe have performed the best since the Reserve Bank of India banned Paytm Payments Bank earlier this year. The National Payments Council of India (NPCI) has released new data showing that these two companies' UPI services are quickly surpassing Paytm in terms of user base. According to NPCI data, the UPI transaction volumes of GPay and PhonePe increased by 7.7% and 7.9%, respectively, in February.
