The Common Service Scheme (CSC) was implemented to offer a variety of government services quickly via numerous government-appointed offices or e maha Seva Kendra in all Maharashtra districts.
CSC Mahaonline is an online portal introduced by the government of Maharashtra to enable individuals to access various government services online. The government of Maharashtra has undertaken the CSC as part of the Digital India initiative.
Launched in 2010, the CSC Mahaonline is a collaborative effort between the Maharashtra government and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) under the national e-governance programme. At present, the CSC Mahaonline links over 25 government departments.
These centres are focused on delivering online government services to individuals in an efficient manner. Village-level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) are responsible for managing these centres.
The steps to log into the CSC Mahaonline portal are as follows:
Step 1: Visit the CSC Mahaonline portal.
Step 2: Click the ‘Citizen Login’ option at the top.
Step 3: A new window will open that displays all details and services on the left.
Step 4: The ‘Aaple Sarkar CSC login’ tab is located on the right side. If you have completed registration, enter your email and password, complete a captcha, and choose your district.
Step 5: Click the ‘Login’ option.
Step 6: Choose the service you want to avail and continue as per the directions.
Step 7: If you have been designated as a VLE, select the ‘aaple sarkar VLE Login’ button to continue.
If you are a first-time user of CSC Mahaonline, you need to complete registration. The steps to register and open a Digital Seva account are as follows:
Step 1: Visit the CSC Mahaonline portal and click the ‘Citizen Login’ option at the top.
Step 2: To register for CSC Mahaonline, go to the ‘New user? "Register Here’ icon.
Step 3: A new page will appear displaying two options for registering. In the first option, you can validate your mobile number using an OTP, and then you create your User ID or password. Then, while applying for online services, you must include address proof and other necessary documents. Alternatively, you can upload all of your information in one go. Later, you can create your profile with an OTP.
Step 4: You may now proceed by logging in with your credentials.
