Silent Valley

Vagamon Village

Vagamon is an incredible hill station located in the Kottayam district. Situated at an altitude of 1100 meters from sea level, the place is also known as "The Scotland of Asia".  The village is a peaceful, charismatic hill station allowing the tourists to explore the serene nature away from the city’s hustle and bustle. 

Tourist attractions: The Adventure Sports and Sustainable Tourism Academy usually organizes a paragliding festival at Vagamon village spanning 4 days and this is a great time to take on the exciting adventure thrill. Other attractions are waterfalls, green hills and magnificent jungles.  

Alleppey

Alleppey, Kerala

Often called "The Venice of the South," Alappuzha was founded by Raja Keshawadasan back in the year 1762, who was the Diwan of Travancore at that time. Earlier the Alleppey port used to be one of the busiest centers for trade by the European and the Persian Gulf counties.  

With a blend of beach and backwaters, Alappuzha or Alleppey is one of the glorious destinations in Kerala to visit. The place is situated on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is the sixth biggest city of Kerala and it usually takes two full days to travel through Alappuzha.

Kollam

Trivandrum

Thekkady Lake, Kerala

Thekkady is a wonderful place known for its lavish green fields. The name Thekkady is derived from the word “thekku” which means teak. Located in Iduki district at an altitude of 700-900 meters above sea-level, the best time to visit is during February and March.  Thekkady is home to the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can spot elephants, tigers, and a variety of bird species. Thekkady a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
