IGRS Andhra Pradesh Online 2025

IGRS AP EC Search stands for Integrated Grievance Redress System Andhra Pradesh Encumbrance Certificate Search. It's an online portal provided by the Andhra Pradesh government that allows you to search for Encumbrance Certificates (ECs) for properties located in the state.

An Encumbrance Certificate is a legal document that verifies the ownership and financial liabilities of a property. It shows whether there are any legal claims, mortgages, or debt owed against the property. This information is crucial for property transactions, such as buying, selling, or taking a loan against the property.

The Andhra Pradesh Government's Registration and Stamps Department safeguards historical documents that can be used as evidence in legal proceedings. Document registration serves as a public notice, allowing individuals to verify property records and understand ownership rights and obligations.

The department also collects revenue through stamp duty, registration fees, and transfer duty, and is regarded as the third largest revenue earning department in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
