Yes Bank follows a specific procedure to address the grievances aired by customers. Customers can follow this process to resolve the issues they may face with their car loans.

If you have a query or a complaint, you need to contact the customer care department at the first level. Once a complaint is filed, you will receive a reference number from the customer care representative. You need to save this for further escalation (if necessary) of the same issue.

    Yes. The customer care representative can provide you the status of your car loan application. In order to get the status instantly, you need to provide your application number along with your mobile number.

  • What can I do if my complaint is still not resolved even after reaching out to the Principal Nodal Officer?

    At every level of grievance redressal, allow at least 7 days for the bank to respond to your query or complaint. At the final level of grievance redressal, allow the bank at least 30 days to get back to you. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Banking Ombudsman in your city.

    Yes Bank is covered by the Banking Ombudsman Scheme of 2006 under the Reserve Bank of India. As per this scheme, you may reach out to the Ombudsman if you have any complaints against the bank.

  • What is the maximum amount I can get from Yes Bank car loan?

    You can get a maximum of Rs.5 crore for a new car loan. You can avail car loans starting from Rs.1 lakh onwards. With this high loan quantum, you have a range of models to choose from when you buy a new car.

  • Can I prepay the car loan?

    Yes. You can prepay a car loan obtained from Yes Bank. However, the bank may charge a prepayment penalty for you to close the loan. This penalty is typically charged based on the outstanding loan amount.

  • What are the options available for loan repayment?

    Yes Bank offers plenty of modes for its customers to repay the loan amount. Customers can pay through bank transfer or cheques before their monthly due date. However, the best mode is through auto-debit or standing instruction facility. Here, you don't have to worry about the repayment date as the money will get auto-debited from your account. However, you need to make sure that you have an adequate balance before the payment due date.
